The Pink Raygun Association of Associated Movie Watchers Associated 2007 Tournament has just ended, but we’re getting ready to start the long road to the 2008 tournament. Each week we’ll rent, watch and review two genre DVDs released in 2007 and pit them against one another for a DVD dog fight to the death. The winner of each week’s match, in addition to advancing to the 2008 March Movie Madness Tournament, will be purchased and stored in the Pink Raygun vault to be included in our Tournament prize package.
Our 2008 March Movie Madness Tournament will pit sixty-four movies against one another: the forty-nine weekly winners, plus fifteen reader selected favorites. A tournament bracket will be available in March 2008. The reader who predicts the winner of each tournament match through the final round and scores the highest number of points wins the package of all sixty-four tournament DVDs. That’s a lot of DVDs. Your mail carrier may never forgive you.
