The Scifi Channel has launched a new feature on their website: The Battlestar Galactica Videomaker Toolkit. The toolkit provides over 30 visual effects and 20 audio effects for users to create an original four-minute short. Fans are using the toolkit to create mock commercials, alternate scenes and mini-episodes. Users can post their videos to the website for others to view, and for a chance to be aired during a future broadcast.
